Learn about Pub/Sub

Pub/Sub notifications provide a way for you to receive alerts about newly enrolled devices, device reports, and recently issued commands. To learn more, head to this page (opens new window).

Types of Pub/Sub notifications

There are different types of notification types, namely:

• Command - Used for reporting the status of commands issued to a device, such as reboot, lock, reset password, etc.
• Enrollment - Used for notifying when a device has been enrolled.
• Status report - Used to periodically send updated device information to the backend.
• Usage logs - Used for reporting events generated by a device. See the complete list here (opens new window).

Enabling or disabling Pub/Sub notifications

1. Go to the Reseller dashboard > Management > Teams
2. Find the team you're looking for.
3. Select More > Pub/Sub notification types. (Note: This option will be available only for the teams that have completed their onboarding process.)
4. A popup box will appear: (Note: For lost-mode to work, usage logs and command should be enabled)
5. Turn on the notification types you want to enable, then click on Save Changes.
