Knox Mobile enrolment for Samsung Devices

mambo EMM supports Knox Mobile enrolment (KME). This is a Samsung device enrolment method. It can be managed through the KME portal.

Firstly, login to your KME portal. Select create & configure a new MDM Profile, then follow these steps:

Profile Creation

1. Select MDM Profiles from the navigation menu on the left-hand side.
2. On the MDM Profiles screen, select the CREATE PROFILE button from the top, right-hand side. A new browser window will popup.

Profile Configuration

1. Choose the ANDROID ENTERPRISE profile type. Another window should appear to set some profile details.
2. Specify a Profile Name, feel free to add an optional description.
3. Select Let MDM choose to enrol as a Device Owner or Profile Owner option.
4. Select other on the Pick your MDM dropdown.
5. In the MDM Agent APK field, enter this URL: https://play.google.com/managed/downloadManagingApp?identifier=setup
6. You can leave the other fields blank & select Continue.

Profile Settings

1. In the Custom JSON Data field, copy and paste the following: {"android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_ADMIN_EXTRAS_BUNDLE": {"com.google.android.apps.work.clouddpc.EXTRA_ENROLLMENT_TOKEN":"ENROLLMENT_TOKEN"}}
2. Replace the ENROLLMENT_TOKEN field with the token found under the enrolment section of the mambo EMM console.
3. On the Device Settings section select if you would like to leave system apps enabled or not.
4. Enter a Company Name in the Company Name field.
5. Select Create
6. You should now have a KME profile to enrol your devices into the mambo EMM console.
